Client Background
Portsmouth International Port is Britain's Best Connected Port with more destinations than any other UK port, handling estimated 2 million passengers and 250,000+ units of freight annually.
Multi-Screen Installation
Throughout the site, including the new terminal, we have installed a variety of hardware solutions including LCD screens used for both internal and external use, LED displays and a bespoke LED ceiling. Although there is a mixture of resolutions and orientations used throughout the site, everything is controlled from their embed signage account, where content is updated from a single place.

LED Ceiling
The last installation for the new terminal was for a bespoke, eye-catching and dynamic LED ceiling used to display wayfinding for guests. Utilising 105 individual LED strips and connected to a Windows media player, the ceiling is now used as a unique signage solution to guide the traverllers along the corridor leading from the original terminal to the new.
Keeping content relevant
Due to the many passengers that pass through the departure gates, the security team needed a quick and effiecent way of keeping passengers informed with departure updates and security reminders. Therefore, 3 commercial grade displays were installed over the departure entrance where the content is controlled from a small touchscreen tablet behind the security desk. Departure and boarding times, alongside destination information, weather updates and security announcements and images, can all be updated at the click of a button.
